PROPOSED Redesignation and Rezoning - 166 Park Avenue

As a follow up to the briefing session held on May 15, 2012 regarding a proposed amendment to the Mount Pearl Municipal Plan and Development Regulations 2010, an open house is scheduled to present further plans and information and to receive additional public feedback with respect to the proposed amendments at 166 Park Avenue.
The proponent is requesting an amendment to the future land use plan and zoning map as follows:
The property at 166 Park Avenue is proposed to be re-designated from INSTITUTIONAL to RESIDENTIAL and rezoned from Community and Public Services (PB) to Apartment (APT).
The intention of this proposed amendment is to provide Council with the authority to consider a two –three storey apartment buildings consisting of a total of 48 apartment dwelling units. Driveway access to the buildings will be from Riverview Avenue.
