BDC Small Business Week 2017

Mount Pearl and Metro Business Opportunities to Host Workshops

The City’s Economic Development Office and Metro Business Opportunities (MBO), the urban deliverer of the Community Business Development Corporation (CBDCs), are set to host a workshop series and open house during the 2017 BDC Small Business Week. This year’s theme for Small Business Week (October 15-21) is Future-Proof Your Business – Adapting to Technology and Demographic Trends.

Mount Pearl and MBO are teaming up host three workshops which will provide small business owners and operators tools and tips on how to maintain and grow their business. In today’s economy it is critical to stay on top of current trends and seek out every opportunity to give your company an advantage. This is a perfect opportunity for small business owners to take advantage of low cost albeit high quality training.

At the end of Small Business Week the City of Mount Pearl is happy to host the Metro Business Opportunities Open House which is an appreciation event for businesses to celebrate their client’ successes, many of which proudly call Mount Pearl home.
