Briefing Session: Proposed Discretionary Use – 103-105 Clyde Avenue – Pro Coat Industries

With reference to the briefing session below, the City is in receipt of a letter from the proponent indicating that the business is not proceeding and that the proponent wishes to withdraw the application.  PAs a result, the briefing session scheduled for Thursday, February 1 has been cancelled. 


Proposed Discretionary Use – 103-105 Clyde Avenue – Pro Coat Industries
Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 7:00pm, Mount Pearl City Hall

The City is in receipt of an application by Pro Coat Industries proposing to operate a sandblasting and powder coating business within the existing building at 103-105 Clyde Avenue.  The proposal also includes exterior tire storage.

The subject property is located within the Industrial-Light (IL) Use Zone.  The proposed use is a Hazardous Industry Use which is listed as a Discretionary Use in the IL Use Zone, requiring public notification.

Prior to making their decision, Council invites comments in writing no later than 12:00 noon, Friday, January 26, 2018.  Should no comments be received, the briefing session will be cancelled.  Comments received form part of the public record.  If you do not wish your name attributed to your submission, please advise the City.
