(Proposed Topsail Road Heritage Rezoning Amendment)
City Council adopted Municipal Plan 2010 Amendment No. 20, 2018 and Development Regulations 2010 Amendment No. 65, 2018 on April 3, 2018.
The purpose of the amendments is to provide Council the authority to consider an application for consolidation of property to accommodate a proposed automotive sales and commercial garage use located in the vicinity of Topsail Road and Farrell Drive.
In order to accommodate the proposed development, mapping and text amendments are required to the Scheme, Municipal Plan and Development Regulations, which, if amended, would include the rezoning of the property at 906 Topsail Road from Heritage Resource to Commercial – Mixed, and reflect a revised road layout for the future development of Stonegate Crest at Farrell Drive.
A Public Hearing to consider feedback on these amendments will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the Mount Pearl City Hall.
Anyone wishing to provide feedback at the Public Hearing shall submit two (2) copies of a signed written statement outlining the objection or representation no later than 4:00 PM, Tuesday, April 17, 2018. Written responses will form part of the public record. If you do not wish your name attributed to your statement, please advise the City. Public Hearing will be proceeding.
