Regional Fire Risk Advisory

The St. John’s Regional Fire Department is reminding all citizens that a fire advisory is currently in effect within the region that includes Mount Pearl, as well as St. John’s and Paradise.

All permits for open fires are banned. Contained fires, such as firepits and chimineas, are also banned.

SJRFD asks people to be fire safe when using propane barbeques, with a hose or fire extinguisher nearby. Please ensure fires are fully extinguished when you are finished. Further, be advised that the use of consumer fireworks is also not be permitted.
