Mount Pearl has a Community Health Program, Health and Community Services. This program offers community living and support services to all members of the community. This program is located in the Motor Registration Building, 149 Smallwood Drive.
There are over 80 staff involved in this community program, with 30 of these staff being nurses and health care professionals. The role of this program in the community is to provide quality care to the particular geographic area. They provide access to nursing and social work services, rehabilitation services, physiotherapy services, laboratory services, mental health services, and addiction services. All of which are free with the exception of travel vaccinations. The hours of operation for the program are Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30 and clients may be seen by appointment or referral.
