Performance Schedule Update – Canada Celebrates the FIFA World Cup 2026™
The Canada Celebrates the FIFA World Cup 2026™ event taking place this evening at the Team Gushue Sports Complex will proceed as scheduled.
Please note that the performance lineup times have been updated as follows:
- 7:00 – 7:45 PM: Karla Pilgrim & Jackie Sullivan
- 8:15 – 9:00 PM: Salt Beef Junkies
- 9:30 – 10:15 PM: Rum Ragged

Canada Celebrates the FIFA World Cup 2026™ is coming to Mount Pearl.
FIFA is bringing a first-of-its-kind, countrywide celebration to communities across Canada, and Mount Pearl is proud to be part of the journey.
The Mount Pearl stop of Canada Celebrates will take place on Monday, June 1, 2026 at the Team Gushue Sports Complex. Residents and visitors alike are invited to enjoy live match viewing, interactive activities, local programming, and a vibrant atmosphere celebrating the world’s biggest sporting event.
Canada Celebrates is a free, family-friendly public event that brings people together through shared FIFA World Cup 2026™ match moments, football-themed activities, culture, community and celebration, including a live pre-FIFA World Cup 2026™ international friendly match, streaming at 10:30 PM as Canada takes on Uzbekistan.
Enjoy a full evening of live local entertainment alongside the FIFA action, including Karla Pilgram & Jackie Sullivan (7:00–7:45 PM), Salt Beef Junkies (8:15–9:00 PM), and Rum Ragged (9:30–10:15 PM).
Come hungry! The Mount Pearl Soccer Association will host a BBQ and canteen, and Baked and Loaded food truck will also be onsite with additional options.
Test your skills and have fun with interactive soccer-themed activities across the venue, including hardest shot, accuracy shooting, control and passing challenges, and more.
Take in the atmosphere at the on-site beer garden, adding to a lively and social event experience for attendees.
