Public Briefing Session: 12 Portsmouth Close – Proposed Discretionary Use – Subsidiary Apartment
Please note that the purpose of the Public Briefing Session is to obtain feedback specific to Discretionary Use Application DA26-0572 for 12 Portsmouth Close.
The City is in receipt of an application for a Subsidiary Apartment Within a Single Detached Dwelling at 12 Portsmouth Close (DA26-0572). As per the Mount Pearl Development Regulations 2010, Subsidiary Apartment Within a Single Detached Dwelling is a Discretionary Use in the Residential Low Density (RLD) Use Zone. The applicant proposes to convert a portion of the existing dwelling into a subsidiary apartment.
A Discretionary Use is subject to Sections 4.5 and 4.20 of the Regulations, requiring public notice. The proposed use is subject to the requirements of the Residential Low Density (RLD) Use Zone.
