Day Camps
The City of Mount Pearl offers fun and exciting summer day camps for children between the grades of kindergarten to grade six.
Summer Day Camp Guidelines 2025
- Early Drop Off / Late Pick Up
Early drop off (7:45 am – 8:30 am) and late pick-up (4:30 pm – 5:30 pm) are available. The fee is $25 per week, per child. - The camp staff-to-child ratio is 1:6 in Scamper Camp and 1:8 in Scamper, Rambler, and Discovery Camps.
- Play structure will be outdoor focused, exploration, activities, etc. However, on rainy days and extreme heat/sun exposure, there will be indoor activities. Safety is our first priority!
- Cleaning and disinfecting will be a priority for facilities and equipment, in addition to proper hand washing and hygiene practices.
- Spray sunscreen is encouraged for children needing help from staff.
- There will be no tolerance for children attending camp unwell. If your child is feeling unwell at any point throughout the day, guardians are required to pick them up immediately.
- No sharing of food or drinks is permitted.
Camp Details
CAMPS:
(Based on the grade your child just completed.)
Scamper Camp – Kindergarten & Grade One
Rambler Camp – Grades Two and Three
Discovery Camp – Grades Four to Six
LOCATIONS:
O’Donel High – Scamper
Mount Pearl Senior High – Discovery
Mount Pearl Intermediate – Rambler
HOURS:
Camp runs daily, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

FEES (weekly):
$115 – one child
$215 – two children in the same family
$290 – three children in the same family
Camps will begin on June 30th and will run for 8 weeks, until August 22nd.
