Expression of Interest – Accessibility Advisory Committee

The City of Mount Pearl is looking for expressions of interest from persons interested in joining our Accessibility Advisory Committee. This committee will be dedicated to promoting accessibility and inclusivity within the City of Mount Pearl. We are currently in the process of creating an Accessibility Plan, and we would greatly appreciate input from those with lived experience, caregivers, and disability advocates.

The purpose of the Accessibility Committee is to gather insights and expertise from various persons, organizations, and non-profits to ensure that our Accessibility Plan reflects the needs and aspirations of our community. We are planning to hold a series of three (3) Zoom meetings between October 30– December 1 where we can discuss and collaborate on the Accessibility Plan. These meetings will provide an opportunity for stakeholders to share their ideas, concerns, and suggestions. By working together, we can create a city that is accessible to all residents and visitors.
