Fireworks Regulations

The City of Mount Pearl would like to remind residents, businesses, and organizations that the use of fireworks is not permitted, with the exception of:

• New Year’s Eve: Between dusk on December 31 and 12:30 am on January 1
• Canada Day: Between dusk and 11:00 pm on July 1

The discharge of fireworks outside of this specified time can result in a fine.

Anyone who wishes to discharge fireworks is strongly encouraged to refer to this Fireworks Guidelines brochure to review Firework Safety Tips and more. In the event of any emergency, call 911.
