Movie in the Park

Each summer, the city of Mount Pearl transforms St. David’s Park into an enchanting outdoor cinema for Movies in the Park. Families are invited to bring their blankets and lawn chairs and settle in under the stars for a selection of family-friendly movies. The only admission fee is a donation to the local food bank, making it an event that not only provides entertainment but also gives back to the community.

Join us for a magical evening under the stars with a free screening of “Trolls: Band Together”! This delightful family-friendly movie follows Poppy and Branch as they embark on an adventurous journey to rescue Branch’s brother, Floyd, from villains who threaten to erase their legacy. The movie is rated PG and runs for 1 hour and 32 minutes. Admission is free with a donation of a non-perishable food item. The screening will start at 9 pm, so bring your friends and family, a cozy blanket, and enjoy a night of fun and entertainment in the park!

About: Poppy discovers that Branch and his four brothers were once part of her favourite boy band. When one of his siblings, Floyd, gets kidnapped by a pair of nefarious villains, Branch and Poppy embark on a harrowing and emotional journey to reunite the other brothers and rescue Floyd from a fate even worse than pop culture obscurity.
