Temporary Water Shut-Off

Oxford Cres. – #’s 1-15 and 2-28

The City of Mount Pearl is advising residents in the above-noted areas that water will be temporarily shut off on Wednesday, July 28 between the hours of 9am and 3pm to conduct Emergency Water Line repairs.

When the water service is restored, you may notice discolored water or air in the water line system.  If this is observed, it can be alleviated by opening a cold-water tap and letting the water run in a fixture that does not have an aerator, such as a laundry tub or a bathtub.  If problems persist, please contact Department of Infrastructure and Public Works at 748-1016.

PLEASE NOTE: It is recommended that you refrain from doing laundry on this day to lessen the possibility of clothes being soiled or stained by discolored water.
