Celebrate Pride in the Pearl! 

Mount Pearl is proud to celebrate Pride in the Pearl with a full schedule of inclusive, welcoming, and community-driven events throughout June. 

From the raising of the Pride flag to family-friendly celebrations, social gatherings, and wellness-focused programming, these events reflect our commitment to inclusion, visibility, and respect for diversity. Whether you are looking to connect, learn, celebrate, or simply show your support, there is something for everyone. 

Join us as we come together to celebrate the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and build a stronger, more inclusive Mount Pearl. 

Event Lineup 

June 1 – Pride Flag Raising
City Hall | 8:30 AM | Free
Kick off Pride in the Pearl with the official raising of the Pride flag, marking the City’s commitment to inclusion, visibility, and respect for diversity. 

June 2 – 2SLGBTQIA+ Community Swim
Summit Centre | 9:00 to 10:00 PM | Free
A safe, welcoming recreational space created specifically for 2SLGBTQIA+ community members. 

June 4 – Queer Comedy Night
Landwash Brewery | 8:00 PM (Doors open at 7:30 PM)
$10 advance (Eventbrite) or $15 at the door
In partnership with Landwash Brewery and The NewFunny Crowd, enjoy an evening of live comedy featuring queer performers and celebrating local talent and community connection. 

June 12 – Pride Celebration Swim
Summit Centre | 8:00 to 8:50 PM | Free
An inclusive swim open to all, celebrating Pride through community, recreation, and visibility. 

June 17 – Parent and Youth Information and Resource Networking Event
Rocket Bakery | 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM | Free
In partnership with Quadrangle NL, this informal session connects parents, caregivers, youth, and allies with resources, information, and peer support. Email bpelley@mountpearl.ca to reserve your attendance.   

June 24 – Queer Adult Networking Social
Rocket Bakery | 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM | Free
A relaxed and welcoming space for queer adults to connect, share experiences, and build community. Email awhitty@mountpearl.ca to reserve your attendance.  

June 28 – Pride Family Day
Centennial Square | 1:00 to 4:00 PM | Free
A vibrant, family-friendly celebration featuring entertainment, live performances, face painting, bouncy castles, and games for all ages.
