Swimming Lessons

We offer swimming lessons for all ages and swimming ability levels. Our lessons follow the Lifesaving Society Swim for Life™ program to develop swimming skills.

Swimming Lessons – Fall 2026

Second Session

Fall 2026: Nov & Dec Swimming Classes:

Registration opens Monday, October 26, 2026, at 5:00 PM for Mount Pearl residents and Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at 5:00 PM for non-residents.

Program Dates

  • Seven-week classes run from November 1 to December 19, 2026
  • Six-week Wednesday classes run from November 4 to December 16, 2026 with no swimming on November 11.
  • Six-week Friday classes run from November 6 to December 18, 2026, with no swimming on November 20.

First Session

  • Mount Pearl Residents Registration – Monday, August 31, 2026 at 5:00 PM
  • Open Registration – Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at 5:00 PM

New Program: Adaptive Swim Lessons

Designed for individuals of all ages and abilities, our Adaptive Aquatics Lessons provide personalized, one-on-one instruction in a supportive and inclusive environment. Each session is tailored to the participant’s unique needs, abilities, goals, and learning style. Our instructors help swimmers develop water comfort, safety skills, confidence, and swimming fundamentals at their own pace.

Whether you are new to the water or looking to build upon existing skills, these lessons offer a safe, encouraging, and enjoyable experience that promotes success and independence in the aquatic environment.

  • October 7, 2026 at 5:00PM for non-residents

Cancellation Policy – Classes may be cancelled or combined depending on registration and are subject to time change when necessary. We reserve the right to cancel a class if not enough participants have registered. Credits or refunds will only be issued if the class is cancelled by the Department of Recreation and Community Safety or if a participant is medically required to withdraw from a program with at least half of the classes remaining for the session and a doctor’s note is provided at the time.
