Printing for Punks

Arrive any time between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Give yourself an hour.

In honour of Admiralty House’s recent show “Punk Rock Pearl” Artists Jennifer Morgan & Virginia Stoddard are hosting a printing workshop.

Using Jennifer’s eccentric collection of old-fashioned letterpress type, they will help participants typeset their names and a short phrase of five words. Participants will be printing in various colours on tissue paper, which can then be pasted onto punk posters (or made into Christmas cards, if you want to be seasonal).

This is a family event, and good for all ages, although children will need at least one accompanying adult.
