Urban Sketching

June 25 @ 2:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Free

Celebrate the Admiralty House Communications Museum’s 25th Anniversary with an Urban Sketching Event!

Urban sketching is an international movement that encourages on-location sketching and storytelling through art. It provides an opportunity to sketch in a supportive environment, share art and experiences, and learn from each other. Learn more about the movement here: https://urbansketchers.org/

This event is a partnership between Association for the Arts in Mount Pearl and Admiralty House and will focus on sketching the Admiralty House’s buildings and gardens.
Sketches may be loaned or donated to the museum as a part of the museum’s 25th Anniversary exhibit.

Admission is FREE

Meet at 2:00 pm outside the gazebo (next to the main museum entrance)

Don’t forget:
Your favorite sketching supplies (can also be provided!)
Something comfy to sit on (lawn chair, picnic blanket, etc.)
