Mount Pearl is located approximately 15km or a 15 minute drive from the St. John’s International Airport.

The city is also located 898km or 9.5 hours from the Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal in Port-aux-Basques. This service connects Newfoundland to the rest of Canada by sea. There is also a ferry terminal located in Argentia which is 123km or 1.5 hours from Mount Pearl.  The Argentia ferry runs on a seasonal schedule.
