The City is holding a launch of the 20 Minute Makeover and the Waterford River Clean-up, both sponsored by Tim Horton’s, on Saturday, May 11^th from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. We will be looking for volunteers including businesses, residents, and community groups to help pick up litter and small debris in Powers Pond and along the Waterford River banks. Residents and community groups will meet at Powers Pond Boat House at 10:00 am to sign up and receive supplies and commence clean up.   Afterwards, volunteers will then be invited to join members of Mount Pearl City Council at Powers Pond Park for Tim Horton’s treats, pizzas, a bouncy castle, and more!
